Very Quick CasparCG Playout
Very quick way to get a CasparCG going.
Step 1: Download
Download the server and client from http://www.casparcg.com/download
Step 2: Unzip
Unzip them both as the same location
Step 3: Start the server
Launch the CasparCG_Server.exe inside the Server folder. You should get 2 windows. "Screen consumer" which is your default output and "CasparCG Frontend" which is the interface. Accept the normal Windows Firewall alerts and questions.
Step 4: Start the client
Launch the "CasparCG Client.exe" in the Client folder. You should get 1 window. Again accept any Windows Firewall alerts and questions.
Step 5: Add a source
Using the TWIT.TV live stream, we are able to very quickly add our first source. In the main area of the client, right click and drill down until Video. Select this option.
Step 6: Set the source
Make sure it is selected, then on the right under "Inspector" set the server to "Local CasparCG" and the Target to http://bglive-a.bitgravity.com/twit/live/low ( or http://bglive-a.bitgravity.com/twit/live/high )
Step 7: Hit play
Press F2 and you should see the Twit Live stream on your "Screen consumer" screen.
