MacBook Pro and NEC 3d Projector

For a couple of years, I've been battling to get 3D projection to work well on a MacBook Pro.

I recently found a little application called Disable Monitor ( ). This little apps main purpose is to be able to switch monitors on and off on your Mac making the display card available for one screen at a time.

The added benefit is it gives you much better control over display sizes for each monitor.

Specifically for the NEC NP-V311W DLP 3D projector, I'm now able to set the HDMI to 1280x720x32@60 which is ideal for Half Over and Under ( H-OU ) content to render correctly in 16:9 aspect ratio.
